ESL Indian Premiership is the biggest eSports Championship event in India hosted by NODWIN Gaming with over 3000 participants and over 900 matches. It is a mix of online and offline tournaments, monumental prize pools, daily contents, celebrity showdowns, cosplay competition and many more. The tournament is divided into three sub tournaments, the Starter Cups, Challenger and the Masters for the game titles Dota 2, CS:GO, Clash Royale and Just Dance with total prize pool of over 42 Lacs INR.
Starter Cups: It is held every month for the game titles Dota 2, CS:GO and Clash Royal. A total of 24 days is allocated for the tournament with the finals being held on the 24th day. The team grabbing the first and second position qualifies for the Challenger Cup and takes home pre-decided prizes. There are a total of 6 Starter Cups in the first season of ESL Indian Premiership.
Challenger Cup: These are the LAN events that are held after every 3 Starter Cups. Challenger Cup has a total of 8 slots for each game title, except for Just Dance. Out of 8 teams/individuals in the Challenger tournament, 6 qualify from Starter Cups while one of two remaining spots is decided by an open qualifier and the other is reserved for an invitational team invited for the event. All the 8 teams are assured a share of prize pool. There are 2 Challenger Cup tournaments in a season of ESL Indian Premiership.
Master Cup: This is the year end LAN final tournament of the ESL Indian Premiership where most of the elite participants compete for the ESL Indian Premiership title on a massive stage in front of a huge audience. Masters hosts 8 participants for each game title in which 4 participants qualify from 2 Challenger Cup each.
